We are the only occupational medicine clinic in Atlanta that is owned and operated by a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Ish A. Khan. Ish A. Khan, M.D.
Dr. Khan is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and founder of Choice Care. He utilizes his orthopedic knowledge and workers compensation experience to train all primary care physicians in orthopedic diagnosis, treatment, and management of non-medical issues present in worker’s compensation. Dr. Khan enjoys helping his patients improve the quality of their lives and believes that earning a patient’s trust is an important part of the physician-patient relationship. He has been practicing for over 25 years and has experience in occupational rehabilitation, administration issues, achieving maximum medical improvement, and closing workers compensation cases.

William B. Booker, M.D.
Dr. Booker graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1982. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 1985. He received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine and has over 25 years of clinical practice experience. He takes pride in a personal yet professional practice style with a strong emphasis on evidenced based medicine while maintaining an individual prospective on patient care. Dr. Booker transitioned to Occupational Medicine and joined the Choice Care Occupational Medicine group in 2006. He is currently the anchor physician at the Choice Care Marietta Office on Franklin Road in Marietta, Georgia.

Mundeep Chaudhry, M.D.
Dr Chaudhry obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1996. After an internship in Emergency Medicine, he completed his residency in Family Medicine. Dr Chaudhry is board certified by The American Board of Family Medicine. He has enjoyed working with Dr Khan at Choice Care Occupational Medicine and Orthopaedics since September 2004. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, reading and exercising.

Arlene Emmons, M.D.
Dr. Emmons began her career in health care as a Registered Nurse.She continued her dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life of others by obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2000. Dr.Emmons also earned her Masters of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2007 and is board eligible in Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. E. Ladd Jones, III
Dr. Jones is an Atlanta native and a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon who joined Choice Care in 2007. After graduating from Princeton University in 1984, he obtained his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at New York Medical College in 1999, followed by an extra year of specialty training in Sports Medicine at the Taos Orthopaedic Institute in Taos, New Mexico. He and his family returned to Atlanta in 2004 and he joined Dr. Khan as the second orthopaedist at Choice Care in 2007. Dr. Jones and his wife, Cary, are both fitness enthusiasts as well as the busy parents of three young children.

Wendy Mitchell, MD
Dr. Wendy Mitchell, Board Certified Family Physician, completed her residency training at one of America's top 10 hospitals, Providence Hosptial, in Michigan. She went on to complete her academic fellowship with the National Center of Primary Care and later taught young aspiring physicians for 2 years at Morehouse School of Medicine. During her seven years of private practice she had the opportunity to work as a panel physician providing care for several major companies. With the strong baseline background in the practice of workers compensation she went on to obtain other certifications in pain management. She joined Choice Care in March 2009 and enjoys serving as a liaison between the employer and injured employee. Dr. Mitchell is currently the anchor physician at the Hapeville location.

Sussan Sutphen, MD
Dr. Sutphen obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1982. After two years of training in Internal Medicine, she completed her residency in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Sutphen is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She has enjoyed working with Dr. Khan at Choice Care Occupational Medicine for 5 years. Dr. Sutphen is currently the anchor physician at our Norcross location. When away from work, she enjoys reading, writing, movies and home remodeling.
