Slip and Fall injuries
In the months of Nov 2010 through Feb 2011 Choice Care observed a 10 x increase in slip and fall injuries from other months.

Prevention Tips

1. Review past injury logs to find previous hazards
2. Footwear with rubber or neoprene composite soles provides better traction on ice and snow than leather or plastic
3. Have salt bags and hazard signage ready
4. Address any water leaks within the work environment
5. Many slips and falls occur during entry or exit from vehicles
-Use vehicle supports while exiting and entry to vehicle
