Wellness and Prevention

We are very excited for your interest in wellness and prevention. Wellness and prevention driven services in Atlanta are no longer an option but a necessity for the viability of any public and private work sector in Georgia. Choice Care Occupational Medicine understands the need for these services and hence, has been offering a diversity of prevention and wellness services that Atlanta has been benefiting from since the company’s founding in 1996.

These are some of the Wellness and Prevention Services that are offered in the Metro Atlanta region:

Environment Risk Assessment:
Performed by a Certified Ergonomic specialist and consists of a work site visit where quantitative as well as qualitative data will be gathered in an effort to assess any acute injury risks. This site visit will be succeeded by a detailed report highlighting the work injury risks observed as well as any recommendations to palliate risks. A follow-up report can also take place to observe any measurable outcomes.

Health related presentation:
Performed by a health scientist and consist of an initial site visit for an informal needs assessment and is followed-up with a power point presentation or alternative form of presentation. An informal evaluation will follow presentation for efficacy of program.

Safety/management coaching/training:
Performed by an injury rehabilitation specialist/ergonomic specialist and consists of an initial site visit to assess any current concerns or work injury risks and will follow-up with a presentation/ discussion on the risks as well as any prevention methods specific to the work area. The training session will be followed-up with a questionnaire evaluation to assess the efficacy of the presentation as well as an informal follow-up visit to observe any measurable outcomes.

Biometric screening:
Performed by occupational medicine staff and consists of  vitals testing, cholesterol reading, blood sugar reading as well as body mass index. This type of screening can be used for several purposes such as needs assessment, risk assessment and for tracking improved measured outcomes. Following biometric screening, a recommended program will be initiated with the directive of a medical professional and will consist of pre and post evaluation to help track efficacy and outcome of program.

Ability Testing Implementation:
